How It Started
One Trip Changed Everything
W.I.N.G.S. Connections Beyond Borders was born from a simple idea: women veterans deserve a space to heal, connect, and rediscover themselves through travel. After years of service, many of us found ourselves searching for community — for sisters who understood the unique experience of being a woman in uniform.
What started as a small group trip has grown into a global sisterhood. We've traveled to over 30 destinations across 5 continents, and with every journey, our bonds grow stronger. Travel is our vehicle — but connection is always the destination.
Today, W.I.N.G.S. is more than a travel group. We are a family. We show up for each other on the road and at home. We celebrate each other's milestones, support each other through challenges, and remind each other every day that our best adventures are still ahead.
